OVAL BC2000 Communication Driver

OVAL BC2000 Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with Batch Controller of OVAL in Japan.

1. Read settings

<Figure 1> is read setting example of  OVAL BC2000 communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively, according to setting of controller.

Also, you can set 'wait time after ID selection'( 0 ~ 2000 m Sec, default = 50 ) by using option part.

OVAL BC2000 communication driver¡¯s read schedule

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) Station – Controller station number = 0 ~ 99.

2) Read Command – Command = BS, T?, R?,C?,O? ( Refer to <Table 1> )

3)Read Start Address– Don't care.

4)Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size – fixed to 1.

You can set read schedule by using , , button and listbox of <Figure 2>.

Wait time after ID selection( 0 ~ 2000 m Sec, default = 50 ) can set by using the part of ¡®Wait Time After ID Selection¡¯ shown in <Figure 2>

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialogue box of <Figure 2>, dialogue box of <Figure 3> is shown.

2. Writing settings

You can write the setting value by using write settings.

Digital Write

Digital write setting parameters are as follows:

1)  PORT                    Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2)  STATION               Controller station number = 0 ~ 99.

3)  ADDRESS              Saving start address of Communication Server (Decimal address)

4)  Extra1                   Write command BH, BR, BC ( Refer to <Table 2> )

                                 BH : stop,                          value = Don't care.

                                 BR : reset,                          value = Don't care.

                                 BC : start,                          value = Don't care.

5)  Extra2                   Don't care.

Write example 1)

PORT : 12 , STATION : 99,  ADDRESS : 0000,  EXTRA1 : BH,  EXTRA2 :

The setting parameter shown above is an example of  stop the OVAL BC2000 device (ID 99) connected to port 12.

Write example 2)

PORT : 12 , STATION : 99,  ADDRESS : 0000,  EXTRA1 : BR,  EXTRA2 :

The setting parameter shown above is an example of  reset the OVAL BC2000 device (ID 99) connected to port 12.

Write example 3)

PORT : 12 , STATION : 99,  ADDRESS : 0000,  EXTRA1 : BC,  EXTRA2 :

The setting parameter shown above is an example of  start  the OVAL BC2000 device (ID 99) connected to port 12.

Analog Write

Analog write setting parameters are as follows:

1)  PORT                    Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2)  STATION               Controller station number = 0 ~ 99.

3)  ADDRESS              Saving start address of Communication Server (Decimal address)

4)  Extra1                   Write command BV,BH,BR,BC ( Refer to <Table 2> )

BV : setting batch value,      value = Enter up to 8 digits including integers and decimal places. (Decimal places is discarded, eg 0.12345 ¡æ 0.12 for 2 decimal places).

                                 BH : stop,                          value = Don't care.

                                 BR : reset,                          value = Don't care.

                                 BC : start,                          value = Don't care.

5)  Extra2                   Don't care.

6)  Value                    Batch value

Write example 1)

PORT : 12 , STATION : 99,  ADDRESS : 0000,  EXTRA1 : BC,  EXTRA2 : , VALUE : 11.1

The setting parameter shown above is an example of  Set the batch value of the OVAL BC2000 device (ID 99) connected to port 12 to 11.1.
